I need to put real news in here.

Where the heck is Zach?  Here's hoping he gets the Christmas to spend with his family at least instead of being out on ship with the Navy boys.  It's too bad, I wanted to spar.  Perhaps Steve will be up for the task if I take it easy on him.

Or maybe just Fight Night Round 3.  It's such a beautiful boxing game, and it's too bad I don't have any system that has the game on it.  I wouldn't care if it was a PS2 or XBox right about now, I just want to play it to my heart's content.

You know, it would be kinda nice to be that social guy who has some sort of life outside the computer... but I can't see putting the money into it.  I live in the middle of nowhere which means there are very few places to hang out at that actually contain nerds or geeks.  In fact, don't they tend to hole up on the net anyway?  Scratch that idea.  I'll just go play SC2 in the cades until they actually get SC3 in there or whatnot.

Here's a ZDoom weapon mod concept- what about having a mod that has some of the craziest weapons around but are still serious weapons?  I've already got the starting weapons idealized- a knife gun that you can stab and gouge with, yet still shoot weak rounds if need be, and a 20 gauge shotgun.  Mostly because shotguns have been a stereotypical powerhouse in Doom mods and I'm kinda sick of it.  We've been able to do something about this thanks to DECORATE and yet nobody seems to want to put shotguns in their proper place.  Another interesting hitter will be a scatterpack missile launcher which won't be very accurate at all- in fact the missiles might just fly out of the intended firing pattern altogether!

I really have no idea for a superweapon though.  The energy weapon will likely be slow, powerful, and short range, but then I need a superweapon that trumps that.  Any ideas anyone?

I still need to send that Dungeon Keeper 2 map and poke Will about why the mana vaults aren't giving me super mana like they should.  I even made them neutral owned so someone can't capture them too quickly, but what good do they do if you can't take advantage of all that land?  One pretty much has 500 mana coming in per turn by the time their dungeon is finished.

Now owning Warhammer 30K: Dark Crusade and playing it.  It looks okay, but Orks look like they just got superpowered.  Oh well.

Now to get back to beatin my heavy bag and working out.

I hope next year, possibly during Weird Al's tour, we'll be able to meet and have a 'social life'
